I've had the privilege to listen to various lecturers speak about surgery, implantology, prosthodontics, pathology, surgical and restorative complications, etc. A number of things make Dr. Iyer unique. He LOVES to teach and makes everything interesting and entertaining, but even more impressive is his vast and incredibly detailed knowledge of human physiology, immunology, anatomy, and histology at a level of detail beyond any CE course lecturer I have heard. He doesn't just say "studies show that success rate for this technique is very high." Instead, he can recite the fine details of how studies were conducted, what exactly were the conditions, the results, and why. He explains in detail physiological mechanisms and pathologies and how they interact with materials, medications, prosthetics, restorative techniques, etc. using accurate and detailed scientific terminology yet in an easy-to-understand way. It's obvious he is extremely well-educated and well-read. He has studied the research and then investigated beyond that research. In his lectures he explains everything in a step-by-step way that is organized and logical...i.e. these are the conditions, this is the first step, this is how and why, here are the likely consequences, here are possible complications and how to mitigate them... then this is the second step, this is how and why, etc - it is so helpful. If you really want to learn, Dr. Iyer is the person to go to.
